Apple to begin iPhone 5 pre-orders in late September, launch early October

Apple die-hards listen up, because this is meant specifically for you. People are talking that pre-orders for the new iPhone due out later this year will begin September 30th. We’re not sure exactly which handsets their talking about, since we’ve heard of reports that we’ll get the much anticipated iPhone 5, but also a pre-paid mini iPhone model, known as the iPhone 4S. — More after the break!
9 to 5 Mac has learned that Apple has decided to go with a October 7th release date for its Iphone 5. Apparently production has been going smoothly and what was original October 14th for its launch, has now been bumped up a week.
That being said, we can expect some sort of event in usual Apple fashion some time in September. And with the rumor being that pre-orders for the new Apple handset starting on the 30th, the much awaited presser can’t be that far off.
