Sony releases PS Vita specs for you and me

Sony has officially released the PS Vita’s specs, the power of its guts, and boy does it pack a punch. It truly does stand out as a mini, portable PS3. But how will it fare against a drastically price reduced 3DS? That remains to be seen. But for now we’ll just have to be okay with checking out what will make the Vita’s games so pretty.

It definitely isn’t your Dad’s Gameboy brick, that’s for sure. It pretty much does everything you can think of except wash your dishes, but I’m sure that’ll be included in a later firmware update.

We still haven’t gotten a firm release date, so for those with a handheld gaming itch that needs to be scratched you don’t have to choose between Nintendo and Sony anymore — cause didn’t you hear? The 3DS is only $170 now. Not to mention it has Star Fox, Super Mario Land, and Mario Kart 7 just right around the corner to keep you busy until Sony gets in gear.
