CES 2010: Meet the Dell Alienware M11X Laptop

Alienware have just revealed another laptop for gamers. This time it's the Dell Alienware M11X, which, according to Dell, is the most powerful laptop under 15 Inches. It can run Crysis on High at 50fps and COD at 30fps, with 720P resolution (on what's essentially a netbook). The price won't really break the bank too much with it being, specs maxed, 1000$ or under.

It weighs a ton at 4 pounds but it's looking great with six hours of battery life (2 hours if your gaming non stop), extremely good specs and, of course, being able to take it wherever you want.

"AT CES DELL UNVEILS FIRST "ALL POWERFUL" ULTRA MOBILE GAMING SYSTEM·

The Alienware M11x, the most powerful 11-inch gaming laptop in the universe - as easy to carry as it is powerful, making high-performance gaming accessible to all.

"Xbox Game Room" and Project Natal Launch Details Leaked in CES Interview

Microsoft's Channel 9 developer community site has just accidentally posted an Interview with Robbie Bach, President of the Entertainment & Devices Division with quite a few hours to go before their CES press conference.

In this video, which has just been pulled by Microsoft, Bach starts to discuss details of the "Game Room," a way to bring "retro fun back into gaming." If you go back to October, there was a consumer survey for a virtual Avatar arcade, with one of the titles being "Game Room." Coincidence? I think not!

New Zelda Title (on the Wii) Confirmed for 2010, DS Successor is Motion-Sensitive

Nintendo has been hinting at information about the next Zelda game for Wii for a long time. There was concept art released at E3 2009 (Shown Above) as well as being confirmed to be using the Wii Motion Plus. Nintendo is trying to also make it on a much grander scale then the first one but it "won't be radically different" from previous games. They are expected to unveil it at E3 2010, with Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo, just confirming that it will in fact be released in 2010. I'm going to guess that they are planning a Winter 2010 release date if they are planning to unveil it at E3 however it's possible this could be a Japanese only release date.

In the same interview by Asahi Shimbun, Iwata also talked, very briefly, about a successor to the DS (and not just another revision). From the man himself, he stated to the Japenese newspaper that the new handheld will have "highly detailed graphics, and it will be necessary to have a sensor with the ability to read the movements of people playing."

He then stated that this is not the time to talk about the successor considering the DS is still selling like crazy.

So, does a new Zelda title have you interested? Or are you tired of the series?

Do you want another handheld with "Motion-Sensitivity?" Or are you worried your going to have Wii motion control on their next handheld?

Rumor Report: Dragon Age: Awakening?

Dragon Age: Origins was a really fun game, it returned gamers to the old types of very hardcore RPGs like Baldur's Gate and Dungeons and Dragons. But it looks like Dragon Age could be getting a sequel, with Eurogamer spotting an online retailer with the name Dragon Age: Awakening on it's site, but being pulled down shortly after.

According to the site, they saw that Dragon Age: Awakening will be released for around two thirds of the price of the original game. Kotaku also spotted a PC and 360 version with no PS3 release being spotted. The description offered some brief details saying the game will feature a new character that would come with their own Origin Story and around 15 hours of play. It also reported the game would be released on March 19th which means they would have to announce it very soon.

With Dragon Age: Origins being one of my top games of 2009, I would definitely be happy for an expansion to the series.

So what do you think? Has Bioware has been working on a secret project? Or do you think it's just a myth?

Avatar makes a Billion dollars in record time

Reportedly the most expensive movie ever made, Avatar has been receiving rave reviews by critics everywhere (Check out Ricardo's thoughts on the movie here). With amazing 3D technology and jaw-dropping visuals, you really need to watch this achievement in movie making.

But apparently most of you already have, 20th Century Fox is reporting that the movie has made 1 billion dollars in just 17 days, making it the fastest movie to ever reach that landmark and putting it in 4th place of the biggest movies ever made after Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, and, of course, Titanic.

MAG Open Beta Now Live on PSN

The open beta for MAG (Massive Action Game) is now live on the PSN and ready for download. For those of you that don't know, MAG is a PS3 exclusive and multiplayer only title that boasts a 256 players per game. Put simply, I think that is insane, although it would be pretty fun if it worked properly. The Open Beta is scheduled to run from today until Jan 10th with it's official release date in North America being January 26th.

The beta reportedly includes two game modes, 64-player Sabotage and 256-player Domination. The download is a little large at around 1.8 to 2.3 GB of download once the 298MB client is downloaded.

Hopefully I'll get to try it but how has your experience been with MAG's beta?
