Customize Any Webpage In Firefox!

I was looking through all of the Firefox add-ons the other day and came across a really good one it is called Customize Your Web (you can download it here) This add-on allows you to customize any webpage in Firefox, let this video demonstrate.

As you can see you can change absolutely anything on any web page. It is a fantastic add-on, you can even delete annoying adverts from your favorite webpages.

Gran Turismo 5 Delayed Until September 2010?

The other day I was looking on game.co.uk and noticed that their release date for Gran Turismo 5 was September 2010. I am starting to get really annoyed now. Gran Turismo 5 looks like one of the best racing games, but come on Polyphony this is getting ridiculous!! It better be good!

I'm not joking.

Video Demo: RUSE Using Windows 7 Multitouch Features

Ubisoft's strategy game, R.U.S.E. will be among some of the first games to use Windows' 7 touch features. If you don't know what R.U.S.E. is (I don't blaim you if you don't) check out this website.

I think it is a really good idea for strategy games to use the multitouch features as it will make playing the game a lot easier and more enjoyable. As you can see from the video it looks great.

Microsoft Inches Towards Settlement With EU

Microsoft are extremely close to settling there differences with the EU. The EU is expected to give the browser ballot screen of EU editions of Windows 7 the okay.

The browser ballot was proposed after Microsoft dropped the Windows 7 E edition that wouldn't include a browser. The browser ballot is a screen that pops up when you first install Windows 7 asking you what browser you would like to install.

This settlement could mark the end of years of battlement with EU anti-trust regulators.

Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Beta Due Next Week

Mozilla is prepared to release the latest beta version of its Firefox browser next Friday, October 16, with a few added enhancements to whet the palate of those eager to get their hands on the upcoming Firefox 4.0. The updates will be "minor," according to sources, so don't expect mind-blowing changes that'll transform your browser experience. You will have to wait for Firefox 4.0, expected to launch in 2010, for the big update.

Some of the key updates in Firefox 3.6:

  • Lightweight themes
  • Faster JavaScript handling
  • Improved form completion tools
  • Bookmark synchronization
  • Page load enhancements
  • Optimized session restore
  • A few additions to the CSS tech
  • Outdated plug-ins check

News mavens at The Register claim that version 3.7, which does not have a release date, will cop a feel from Windows Vista and feature the "Aero Glass design ... taking on the same translucent appearance as the OS itself." Sexy!
