OLED Lappy's coming out Next Year?

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) is the next step in tech. Right now we're, I would say, a bit past the halfway point in the transition between Standard and Hi Def. For the most part if you're up to date then I'm sure you have yourself a nice crisp LCD monitor right in front of you. If not, then get one - they're cheap! LCD's changed things up a bit by freeing up space when compared to their CRT brothers, but now what's up with these new OLED monitors you're hearing about? Let's take a look real quick at one.

OLED's can be so thin that there are some even as thick as a couple sheets of paper. Of course with new tech comes heavy prices, but that isn't stopping manufacturer's like Samsung to start incorporating this into upcoming products. Not even talking about desktops monitors here either. We're already seeing plans for these new OLED's in notebooks.

At a recent event, speaking about OLED equipped notebooks...

Kyu Uhm, Head of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Samsung's Computing Division, said that the company would look to release towards the end of 2010

Quite an estimate I would say.

Patrick Povel, European Senior Product Manager, was quick to add that analyst Gartner believes mainstream OLED notebooks will become the norm over the next half-decade. And Samsung is clearly set on the idea, having previously shown off an OLED prototype notebook. Povel had previously spoken about the PC becoming more personal than ever before, and that the days of one PC per household are gone. "We're moving towards one PC per person, the computer is becoming personal... the growth is coming from the low end."

the Best Free facebook apps for Windows mobile

We can all agree that most Windows mobile apps sort of lack in the "esthetics" category. Lets admit it, most Windows Mobil apps today look like they were made to corrospond with the styles of 2002. Here is an example, and yes that's what I mean, uuugly!

Anyways, in this post I'll show you some nice Windows mobile facebook apps that look almost as good as they work [...]

All "old" Zunes to be Discontinued

Microsoft god, Paul Thurrott of SuperSite for Windows has realized the obvius. According to the reps he spoke with, production has stopped on all Zune models right before the upcoming Zune HD Model. In other words, when supplies run out, and they will, the Zune 4, 8, 16, 80, and 120 are as good as dead, with only this year's model left standing.
