HTPC's are the "new" thing that is trying to be geared toward the family. A while back PC's were marketed as Family Computer's, and for the most part that has evolved into individual desires and needs - i.e. the Mac/Pc war. So here comes a new genre. The Home Theater PC. HP made a nice looking one, the Touch Smart, but it didn't gain too much [...]
Clearly, the PS3 is by far, more than we expected estheticly, and that makes it a good looking peice of hardware, but there is one interesting that it has that stands out from all the other consoles, it looks like it belongs in your living room. It looks like a Blu-ray player, or a small media pc, not like a "console" per say.
Gone is the Spiderman font and the overly glossy, fingerprint magnet, finish and in comes a beautifle matte finish, with piano black accents wrapped in a sleek case.
It is truely a nice looking machine, and you can count on it fitting in even grandmas living room.
Well my friends this is somwhat of a utility suit for your jesus phone. Although it looks like something that Batman would be using to burn holes through metal but this as an iPhone strapped to the back of it.
Yes, this takes your sad little 3 mega pixle iPhone video camera and turns it into an (almost) professional grade camcorder including a 37mm camcorder lens and a front facing microphone, which plugs into the phone’s headphone/mic jack.
A new startup called OWLE (Optical Widgets For Life Enhancement) has come to bring our dreams true. Now you won't have to buy a 900 dollar video camcorder and have your sad little iPhone in your pocket. Now you can take this monster and strap your iPhone to it and use it as a full blown cam corder.
What I really like about this accesory, is that it takes something that is already "The perfect device" and makes it better. Its one of the few devices that can be fused with another device and create one mega device, wicked!
There’s also planned support for external lighting and power. All in a package that could slip easily into a backpack or laptop case. In short, this is exactly what you need if you frequently use the iPhone for video.
Unfortunately, it will be a while before you can get your grimey hands on one. OWLE plans to have a limited production run completed by late August.
Apple is investigating media reports that one or more of the company's iPhones have exploded in Europe, a European Commission spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Yes, a few iPhones have exploded, but we shouldn't be scared of having an iPhone in our pocket... Right? What is the cause?
Apple said it knew about the media reports, which includes a teenager in France who said he was slightly injured when his iPhone made a weird noise and shattered. I dont think he would buy another iPhone again!
Apple have come back to us ... and what they've said to us is that they consider these are isolated incidents. They don't consider that there's a general problem.
They're trying to get more information on the specific details of those incidents (reported in the media) and they will do tests as necessary to investigate the possible cause.
Helen Kearns told a news briefing.
But a spokesman for Apple Europe Ltd. said:
We are aware of these (media) reports and we are waiting to receive the iPhones from the customers. Until we have the full details, we don't have anything further to add.
Early this week, covinoandrich uploaded some pictures and a video of the supposed new iPod touch 3rd Generation device.
The video is suspicios because the iPod is not fully intact and looks aged. The camera is very convincing but, alot of questions are left unanswered.
The article was quickly gobbled up by AppleInsider and the news spread virally on all the most popular blogs and news sources out there.
Thenew evidence, from the blog ofThe Covino & Rich Show, surfaced this week. While the initial low-quality pictures were met with skepticism, much of that appears to have died after numerous updates with better resolution photos and even a video of the purported device.
The report states that the person who sent the pictures claims to work for Apple, and the device was used for a "durability test," which is why it shows signs of damage. The device has a 2009 date on it, and the pictures include side-by-side comparisons with the 2008 model.
First off, look at that thing! Its abeautiful example of a device being (believe it or not) better looking that the iPhone, and if you disagree, you need to get your eyes checked! Butseriously c'mon, this thing is not even half as good looking as the epic GUI.

Micrsosoft has blown the doors off any device out there. The Zune HD does way more then the iPod touch (Minus the appstore). Wireless syncing, HD radio, HD TV output, and true 16:9 resolution on a OLED screen. Oh yeah, and it costs a HUNDRED dollars less! Yes you heard me correctly.
So go buy one now and say thank you to Apple for pushing Microsoft this hard.
