Video - Fully functioning Sniper Rifle made of Lego

Well, this kid named Jack Streat has created an insane “Lee Enfield” Sniper Rifle - entirely out of Lego and rubber bands. He has also made an AK-47, a Desert Eagle, and about every other gun you can name, out of Lego. If your not clear on the fact that this is the most mind blowing creation ever, there is a nice video of it in action after the break…

Sprint fires employee who let EVO 4G sales figures slip

Can you say corporate cover-up? After all, that’s what it feels like. We all know the story by now: Sprint overzealously states the number of EVO 4Gs sold on launch day, then they come out and correct their statement, claiming that it didn’t do as well as they’d originally stated. But now, we’ve heard that Sprint’s official correction came about after an employee posted on XDA-Developers what’s to be believed as “more reputable sales figures.” After accessing Sprint’s internal inventory system, this one brave employee was able to determine that Sprint only sold around 65,500 units — we’re not so sure, but last time we checked we could’ve sworn that analysts had narrowed it down to 150,000 units, hmmm? As you may’ve guessed by now, the unnamed Sprint employee was eventually let go — all we can say is: Sprint, stop sacking employees for doing the right thing!

iPhone OS 4 brings Facebook Video uploads

iPhone OS 4 brings Facebook Video uploads

Well, this is a pleasant surprise, huh? 9to5Mac.com has unearthed some source code in iOS 4 that suggest Facebook video uploads are coming to the iPhone. Users should be able to upload videos at a resoloution of 480 x 480, and at 30 FPS.

We should be able to view them using Facebook’s HTML5 integration, and it will be interesting how this is adopted in the current Facebook apps in the appstore - Read more

iPad frozen inside a chocolate slab

iPad frozen inside a chocolate slab

Once upon a time there was a guy named Stefan and he wanted to get is Wife an iPad. He thought about gift-wrapping it, but instead, he decided to freeze it inside a slab of solid chocolate and ship it six thousand miles to his wife in Cape Town, South Africa. How romantic.

We saw this on Engadget, and we were really suspicious that this would fail miserably, but after seeing the original article… well, it’ll put a smile on your face - See the photos

Video - Almost as bad as the "Finally Fast" Commercial

“Error messages are not only annoying, but can cause damage to your computer. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, your computer and privacy may be at risk.”

This is another fine commercial that promises to “Speed up your computer”, but most of us already know this is bogus. Don’t get us wrong, it’s not as bad as the Finally Fast infomercial, but still… really?
