We are giving away 5 Google Wave accounts to the people of Twitter! Us at T3ch H3lp have been using the Google Wave developer preview and might we say, it is amazing, and you can read more here.

How to win

What you need to do is make a new tweet with this in it -- #t3chh3lp. You can do it as many times as you'd like. Copy and paste over and over again, but we prefer to have tweets that make us LOL or make us want to give you one.  We will choose 5 winners, at random, on Sunday Dec 6th and announce the winners on the next Episode of the T3ch H3lp podcast, so get busy.

Digg hijacks Google Exec for their Own

Digg is getting a face lift. No real hard evidence can say when the exact date will be, but from what we've heard from Digg founder, Kevin Rose, we can expect to see the changes come about within the next 6 months. But then again he said that back in May... so, I'm not sure when we'll see any new developments. Maybe they're hard at work at right now? Could be, since big pieces are moving around. So much so that they've even snagged themselves one of Google's bigger fish; Keval Desai, ex-Director of Product Management at Google, who will now be acting Vice President of Product at Digg.com.

Keeping the core ideas of Digg are important since it's a vital link in user collaboration right now in finding the latest and greatest stuff out there. But what Rose would be wise to do is make sure the "heart" is still there, but change the "body" around it - making it faster and engaging more user participation - and with the addition of Desai I already feel like that's what they're aiming for. 

I use Digg on a daily basis, multiple times even, and I'm looking forward to seeing things clean up a bit and getting more streamlined.

AT&T Bothered by White House Comments

According to the Dell blog post, the USB key image file (available here: http://linux.dell.com/files/cto) only works on Dell Mini 10v computers. Most importantly, the build makes the built-in Broadcom Wi-Fi adapter on these machines functional, a feature needed when running a web-based OS. After all, what good is a cloud operating system if you have to be tethered to an ethernet cable?

The blog post includes instructions on how to copy the USB image file to a USB flash drive, but unfortunately the directions are aimed only at those who have access to another Linux machine. We're not sure why Windows and Mac users couldn't just modify the instructions found on this website to make their own Dell Chromium OS USB keys by substituting the Dell build for the one hosted on that site.
