In case you had any doubts, Keanu Reeves is a gentleman -- (Video)
If you haven’t read lately, Keanu Reeves may be the most single tragic human being to walk the planet. But despite what life has given him, he’s still been able to pick himself up and be that awesome dude you wish all actors would be. Keanu saved us all from the machines and the grip of the Matric, and here he is saving a lady from having to stand while on the subway. Beautiful — *tear*.
How to enable the New Twitter (all steps included) #LetsFly
Before we take a dive into the new Twitter, let me make something clear - this isn’t an update for Twitter. This is a complete re-work of the entire company, and the re-design is just the surface. With the unification of their follow & tweet buttons, the addition of branded pages, embeddable tweets, and the re-built apps, Twitter is taking the first steps required to become a very profitable company. The key to all of this is transforming the billions of tweets, photos and videos into useful information for their users, and blurring the lines between mobile, desktop and apps — Now, let’s make sure you get in first.

Julian Assange: "iPhone, Blackberry, Gmail users are all 'screwed' -- (Video)
If you live in the year 2011 and believe that your internet, mobile, and social activity isn’t monitored on a 24/7 hour basis then my friend, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Julian Assange paints the picture quite bluntly in this video where he explains that in a post-9/11 world, it’s more common than you think that spy software is being contracted out by local governments to monitor its citizens — even on their private devices.

The original MegaMan cartoon that never was, sadly -- (Video)
The Ruby-Spears MegaMan production from the early 90’s was certainly one of the better video game inspired cartoons we ever got as kids. And even though it casually crosses the border of “it sucks so bad, it’s good” line when we look back at it now, we still love it for what it’s worth. But did you ever wonder what the original concept of the show looked like? Well, to be honest, much better then what we eventually got! Here and bask in the regret of what never was.

Dad of the year builds his son a Portal inspired bedroom -- (Video)
You wish your parents were this cool. No, seriously — you really do, just admit it. I mean, how can you not be jealous of this kid whose entire room was decked out from top to bottom with Portal inspired furniture, complete with Companion Cube’s to solve the room’s puzzle. Oh, and don’t forget the security camera’s that represent GlaDOS’ every watchful eye.
Okay Geek's Black Friday Guide 2011
By now you’ve probably already got a map drawn up with a war strategy on how to flank the competing crowds of people also seeking the best deals on tech and games. And while we did get a late start here at Okay Geek compared to year’s past, we decided to go in a different direction in how we composed 2011’s black friday guide. Instead of doing a full, comprehensive list of everything you’ll find at every store, we decided to pick our top 3 best deals from each of the major tech categories sought for during this annual ritual; i.e. tv’s, laptops, hard drives. We went this route because it’s all about getting the stuff you really need and where to get it, right? — More after the break!
Insanely awesome CSS3 Photo gallery stack
We have seen, and written about various CSS3 slideshows and photo galleries with most of them using jQuery, but when we stumbled across this piece we had to share it. We’re not in love with it because it’s incredible, fascinating or even functional — we’re excited because of how well it was made. It was supposed to serve a purpose at one time, but the creator had to place it on the shelf, which is a shame, but there’s some good news!
