This robot can catch balls and make coffee like a boss - Video
When you really think of it, the roots of the robot apocalypse is the ability for the robots to take over our every day tasks. Decades without having to do every-day things to take care of ourselves will make us reliant on robots, and therefore give them the leverage they need to overthrow mankind. This video demonstrates the beginning of the end.

Completely Erase CD data with High Voltage - Video
Not sure why you’d want to destroy some poor ol’ CD since I’m assuming people would be more interested in trying to delete HDD’s, but hey, nothing is sweeter than watching a CD’s data be physically wiped right before your very eyes.
20 things you don't know about Robots - Infographic
Geeks and robots go back a long time, and it seems impossible to think of a time we didn’t come as a package. They’re our ultimate creation when it comes to the search for the perfect machine to do a human’s job. We create them, love them, fear them and learn about them every day — but there are still 20 interesting things you might not know about our michanical counterparts.

This Robot can climb walls with static electricity
If anything scares me more about the robot apocolypse, it’s robots having the ability to climb up walls. The fact that you can attach a camera to the robot is neat, but still — this is some creepy stuff, and we’re still waiting to see this technology adapted for robots with legs. There is nothing creepier than a robot tank, but a Spider-Man robot would screw us over.

Google's Self Driving car in action - Video
If anything scares me more, it’s the fact that these self driving Prius Google cars have been tearing around the roads for quite awhile now. The car obviously has a driver inside just in case it decides to drive off the road, but it’s hard to believe it’s speeding around the parking lot (tires squealing), taking every corner perfectly without hesitation. Unbelievable.
Also - See the inside view!

Discovery's Space Shuttle launch seen from an airplane - Video
Space shuttle launches are super cool regardless, but once their up a mile or two, they’re gone and out of sight. Luckely this fellow traveler was on his way back from Orlando, FL when he saw Discovery’s Space Shuttle taking off. It’s really amazing to see a shuttle not just take off, but see how fast it really goes — all we know is it would suck to be sitting on the left side of that plane.
In a Day Made of Glass, nothing leaves you alone - Video
This is one of the coolest “in the future” videos we’ve seen in a long time, and this time it’s all about glass (for a change). It’s different because it takes us through a “complete” day of what life is like in the future, and it’s neat to see how it all comes together. The video is really cool and blew my mind… but we’re going to tear it apart anyways…
