MIT student puts a musical Tesla Coil on his hat - Video
Of all the geeky hats in the world, it can’t get any better than having an actual Tesla Coil on your head. The MIT student who created the Tesla Hat has a blog which is quite interesting to flip through, and he also has a pretty expansive breakdown of his Tesla hat. The video pretty much speaks for itself… awesome!

Incredible time lapse of Earth rotating captured from space - Video
This is just bliss, watching the days (literally) roll by before your eyes. The bright lights of the city, trance of the Auroras and the glow of the ocean makes our planet look like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. The video was captured by the crew aboard the International Space Station using a special low-light 4K-camera. Make sure you jump over to Vimeo and watch it in HD… it would be a crime not to…

This is an invisibility cloak made from carbon nanotube sheets - Video
An invisibility cloak made from carbon nanotube sheets sounds like something out of a James Bond film doesn’t it? I mean, you can see that a switch is flicked and something vanishes but whats more exciting is that we may be able tape ourselves to the top of a car, put a cloak on it and make it look like we’re flying like Superman!

Well luckily, KissMetrics has done some research and they’ve pretty much nailed down the opportune times to send out Tweets and Facebook posts.
High-res Photo of Mars surface taken from 35 Million miles away
If anything will amaze me for my entire lifetime, it will be the wonders of space. It’s like an endless playground for humans to test their limits of technology, understanding and teaching. We have little idea what’s out in the endless distance, but every second we get to enjoy the wonders that we’ve discovered is a joy, and now we can admire the surface of Mars without even getting close. This photo was captured in January 2004 by NASA and is the first high-res photo of Mars in history. Entire photo and more info after the break!

大阪駅の水時計 — We’ve seen LEGO printers, marker printers, 3D printers, but we’ve never seen a printer that prints using water! This is really an awesome idea, and not just because the ink is reusable, but because it’s so inspiring to watch. I mean, imagine a huge version of this in a theme park, or turning it into a controllable game? There are so many cool ideas!
