Schwarzenegger's Governator cartoon "terminated" after sex scandal

There were some early reports that Stan Lee’s produced animated series based off the adventures of the fictional Governator, a.k.a. Arnold Schwarzenegger, was still on track despite all the mess that the former govenor has recently gotten himself into. Now it seems that the show has been all but canceled, seeing as the sex scandal broke up the family which was pivotal to show’s plot. — More after the break!

Napoleon Dynamite's original cast returns in animated TV show

Whether you hate it or love it, you can’t deny the cult following for the quirky hit Napoleon Dynamite. And apparently FOX can’t deny it either since they’ve decided to reunite the original cast and start up a full-fledged animated tv show for 2012. From the look of the trailer it gives me a King of the Hill kinda feel, which is a breath of fresh air compared to all this Seth Macfarlane garbage.

Toyota tries its hand at throwing Miku Hatsuna (Vocaloid) into an ad

Look who’s making an interesting appearance in Toyota’s latest US campaign to advertise the Corolla. Why it’s none other than Miku Hatsune, the anime mascot for Yamaha’s Vocaloid software. The choice to include her an mainstream ad does seem odd but it’ll no doubt make tons of weeaboos point to their screen and squeel in applause.

Will Ferrell shaves Conan's beard off during taping of show

Who knew that Conan O’Brien’s man-beard would anger Will Ferrell so much that he’d actually bring out a barber’s chair and clippers, and shave off Coco’s beard right off during the taping of one of his shows? The #beardpocolypse has begun, or ummm, ended I suppose.

GOAB - A new way to watch and share the tv experience

There’s so many ways to watch “television” programming nowadays, though there doesn’t seem to be a way to bring it all together for people to share the experience in real time. And here in lies the power of GOAB, a concept by Syzygy Labs that takes tv and implements tools to enhance and expand it. Will we ever see anything like in our living room? I sure hope so.

Michael Scott's best moments of The Office

Yesterday was one of the saddest days in TV history as Michael Scott quietly said goodbye to his co-workers, crossed off names on a piece of paper and tried to end things on a good note. At 4PM he gathered his things, left his familiar office, headed to the airport and took flight to Colorado. We don’t know what the future holds for The Office, but it’s just nice to see Michael Scott be able to get everything off his chest… that’s what she said…

Family Guy knows its Street Fighter II

What does Street Fighter II and Family Guy have in common? Nothing really. Well, nothing except this fight between Petter Griffin and Mr. Washee Washee in E. Honda’s bath stage. Oh yeah, did I mention there are Hadoukens and Shoryukens?
