"Is your son a computer hacker?" Classic TechTV moment -- (video)
Where have the days gone? TechTV was a critical part of me becoming the geek-centered person I am today, and watching the Screen Savers nightly at 9PM before heading to bed for the night, mind you I was in middle school, was one of the greatest television programs to ever grace cable airwaves. Now bask in the glory that is Martin Sargent (and no, the old lady set as his Twitter avatar is not him).

Seinfeld describes Facebook back in the 90's, gets it dead on -- (Video)
Thanks to the findings of one Reddit user, a nearly 20 year old gem of 90’s television has been uncovered — one that defines this generation’s greatest time-waster, Facebook. Watch as Jerry Seinfeld, in his usual cold opening monologue, goes on about the importance of an answering machine and its messages, and how it’s single function is to hold the bonds of imaginary friendships together. But wait a minute… doesn’t that sound familiar?
The Office's Dunder Mifflin branded paper will soon be sold by Staples
Here at Okay Geek, the staff have an affinity for all things The Office. Though personally, I must admit that I was highly skepticle of the direction the show was heading in season 8, and so was the rest of America — with the show receiving its lowest ratings ever. In 1998 Steve Jobs believed PC's and TV's never could and never would 'converge' -- (Video)
“People go to their TV to turn their brain off, but people go to their PC to turn their brain off! These things aren’t gonna be together…and I don’t think it’s going to happen,” so said Steve Jobs back in the late 20th century. Little would he know that his final frontier before his sudden death would be an attempt try to get the two to work seamlessly together.

Zeebox makes watching TV sound exciting again - Video
We’ve seen a lot of apps that have done the whole “social cable TV” thing, but we think Zeebox has hit the nail on the head in a number of areas that similar services haven’t thought to seek out. Twitter integration is cool, but the fact that Zeebox can pull in realtime, useful information for the show you are watching (even music) is really exciting. We can’t wait for this to arrive in North America!
PBS looks to cash in on never before seen Steve Jobs interview - 'One Last Thing'
I wrote the subject before thinking about it — I mean, isn’t PBS a non-profit? So I guess they wouldn’t be making any money off viewership of this historic interview, which may or may not be just some random quotes by Jobs on life - but hey… it’d give you a reason to actually donate some funds to the channel “supported by viweres like you”. — More after the break!
Apple TV Sets now have prototypes according to component supplier
When Steve Jobs passed away early this month, we knew he had left unfinished work behind and sadly, we imagine the majority of that was still in his head. Ideas that will never be brought to life. Something that cought our eye though is some information that had popped up recently, a quote from Steve Jobs in his biography, outlining his plans for a television set - More after the break!
