Reddit performs Bohemian Rhapsody - Video
I was browsing Reddit last night and one particular thread cought my eye — it was Reddit performing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. We’ve seen this done before on other sites many times, and they’ve all been pretty awesome, but Reddit’s stuck out in particular. The Rage Faces are what added the extra razzle-dazzle to the thread, and became the centerpiece to my video — enjoy!

Today marks the glorious release of version gdgt 2.0 — the popular gadget social networking site. Launched back in mid 2009, the site started as a proof of concept with its massive product database which users could easily add to and edit. What do you think will happen to Skype?





So if you haven’t heard, Microsoft just purchased Skype for 8 gazillion dollars and we want to know what you think about the situation.
We all really enjoy what Skype has to offer (chatting with family, friends and co-workers), and it’s enabled lots of us to take the rolls of radio hosts and participate in the podcasting scene.
Now, Microsoft has Skype all to itself and we don’t quite know what’s in store for the VOIP giant, but our best guess is anybodys best guess — Leave a comment and tell us what’s going to happen with Skype.

So, this is version 6 of Squarespace and that’s really all we get so far, some screenshots of random photos and small glimpses of the interface, but does that snuff any of the excitement? Nope. Squarespace version 6 is shaping up to be a driving force in re-shaping web development as we know it, and version 6 could be the first sign of Squarespace breaking into the mainstream, and catching the eyes of entities like AOL blogs, Gawker and Okay Geek of course!
Kiip.me - Earning real rewards for virtual achievements
Taking a stab at the traditional way awards and achievements are obtained in video games, Kiip (pronounced “keep”), is a new startup focused on big change in the gaming industry. Instead of the traditional method of receiving fake awards and points as you garner achievements, Kiip wants to bring you real rewards from well known brands. Pandora adds streaming Comedy stations
As if anyone actually demanded this, Pandora has now added over 10,000 clips from 700 different comedic personalities to their already impressive lineup. The stations went live yesterday, and are up for anyone who’s interested in listening to performances from people such as George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and tons more. Using the Comedy Genome Project, which sounds ridiculous compared to its musical counterpart, Pandora has analyzed countless punchlines and was able to come up with a method to match up similar deliveries and styles one after another. — More on this groundbreaking technological feat after the jump!
