Nintendo releases official Legend of Zelda timeline, actually makes sense

The Zelda timeline has been something that Nintendo nerds and Zelda fanboys alike have argued over for years upon years. And to add fuel to the flames Zelda producer and director Eiji Aonuma came out and claimed that the franchise did in fact follow a heavily guarded timeline, though it was a secret that only Nintendo knew. Well, it’s been a few years since that quote was first spoken, and here we are at the end of the 25th anniversary of the series now bestowed upon with the official timeline, brought to you by Nintendo’s official Zelda artbook. — More after the break!

Dude proposes using the finest of memes like a boss, success kid is proud -- (Video)

You wish you could be this smooth! Dude’s obviously a nerd, he’s got a hot girlfriend (now fiancée), and with the help of friends, used glossy paper to print out memes frequently seen on Reddit to propose, and quite romantically we might add! And somehow, despite all the odds, as this video goes to show, even nerds can be romantic saps who can make hot asian girls cry.

Marvel and DC superwomen are breast cancer awareness advocates

While not officially licensed by DC Comics, these breast awareness ads couldn’t be any more of a tasteful and classy depiction of our female superheroes. To fight crime is one thing, but to also do PSA’s for the continued protection and well being of Earth’s citizens goes above and beyond. Drawn up by artist Maísa Chaves (on deviant art as Halfy), these comic book heroines were used in ads during the annual Mozambique Fashion Week (Dec. 5th - 10th), in which breast cancer awareness was being campaigned for. — More after the break!

Yep, you’ve guessed it. . This definitely can’t be good for my health, and this infographic tells me all about it. — More after the break!

How much data do the iPhone's top 10 most used apps consume? -- (Infographic)

I’ve never cared to look at how much data I use on my iPhone since I’m constantly connected to WiFi both at home and at work. But recently, since I’ve gotten my fiancé an iPhone 4, I’ve noticed that the amount of usage certain apps get plays a big part into one’s staying well below, or completely sky rocketing over their data limit. For those of unfortunate to not be connected to your own personal WiFi these figures might help relieve some stress that these top 10 apps aren’t the problem. Also, do yourself a favor and download Onavo! — More after the break!

The Rise of Minecraft -- (Infographic)

Minecraft has gone gold! Its final release version went live for download on Nov. 18th during the official Minecraft Convention in Las Vegas. And if you threw down the cash for the beta then you automatically get the full 1.0 version for freesies. Sounds like a sweet deal. But have you ever wondered how the game went from an independant project to a game that somehow rakes in about a million buclks each week? Well, then this infographic will get you up to speed, but watch out for zombies. — More after the break!
