DROID 2 allegedly explodes against man's ear

Every so often a phone manages to save a woman’s life by absorbing the “accidentally fired bullet, at the hand of an estranged spouse,” however; in a bizarre twist that seems like an assassination attempt straight out of a James Bond flick, Floridian man, Aron Embry was making a phone call when all of a sudden his Motorola Droid 2 exploded. After pulling the phone away from his ear, he felt the warmth embrace of blood dripping down the side of his head. He also noticed that the glass on his phone’s display had exploded outward.
According to WFTS-TV in Tampa, the 30-year old man went to a doctor where he received several stitches, however luckily enough there was no damage to his hearing. Currently Motorola’s denying any possibility that their phone experienced an explosion, stating: “While we haven’t had the opportunity to examine the device, it appears to have a broken display. We have no reason to believe the phone ‘exploded’ as it is still operational and intact.” — That’s slick Willy for ya’, always denying until they have incontrovertible proof.
