"Flip" phone concept changes everything you thought about smartphones

When you hear the term “flip” phone, you immediately think of an outdated generation of cell phone technology. However, according to a vision and concept by Kristian Ulrich Larsen, it’s actually a page taken from the future of smartphones.

The Flip concept presented in the video above put a smile on my face — something that not any old device can do. It might’ve been the video quality, or the musical accompaniment, but the “ad” was enough to make me a believer in this flip phone idea.
In terms of its conceptual build, there’s not a lot to talk about. It’s three screens are made out of flexible AMOLED touchscreens with Gorilla Glass screen covers. And software-wise, it runs on Android.
Obviously, there are a lot of questions as to how this would all come together and work, but the practicality in its design and the way it operates suspends my doubts and makes me wish this was real now.
