How to verify your Nintendo 3DS Ambassador eligibility

So you bought your 3DS at launch, or maybe you were one of the lucky few who nabbed one a day or two before the price cut (thanks to Target and Wal-Mart) and you connected to eShop, then you might want to hear this info on the Nintendo’s Ambassador program. What’s this program all about? Well, to put it bluntly Nintendo is offering be 20 free Virtual titles ready for download to early adopters of the handheld. You can check your eligibility with a new site that Nintendo’s launched just this past weekend.

To anyone who’s connected to the eShop by August 12th, regardless of when they bought their system, are unofficially eligible to become a Nintendo Ambassador and receive 10 FREE NES and 10 FREE GBA Virtual Console games for their 3DS.

Details on the games available and when they’ll be launching on eShop can be read — HERE

To officially check whether your 3DS serial number has been registered with Nintendo to receive these 20 free games you can visit this site — HERE

Make sure to enter the first two letters in the beginning of your 9 digit number as well to do it correctly, otherwise you’ll receive an “unverified” result.
