Nintendo - 3DS launches March 27th at $250
That’s right, $250. Not the $300 smackdown everyone was originally scared to see. The system will launch in the USA on March 27th, with Pre-orders being taken now at Amazon and GameStop.
During today’s USA 3DS Press Event in New York, they explained that the handheld would have upto 30 titles within its “launch window” which consists of the time between its release and E3 (June 7th - 9th). No specific titles were mentioned in the launch line-up as of yet, but we do have the list of games that are on the ballot:

Again, there are no release dates for any of them, however we can be sure that as March begins to creep ever so closer to us, we’ll get a better picture at which games will burn our eyes out first.
Friend Codes were also touched upon for a brief moment; Reggie explained that gone are the days of each game requiring a friend code. This time, there will be only one code, one per console. And if the person you’re trying to connect to is on the same WiFi network as you, you can bypass the friend code step and get straight to playing.
