Nintendo 3DS Preview event hitting US in January

Want to get your hands on the Nintendo 3DS? Well, unfortunately you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer seeing as that’s a right reserved only for the press at the moment, but if anything this is a good sign of things to come; Invites are going out to media outlets as we speak for an event being held in New York on January 19th by Nintendo of America.
The media have been promised more hands-on time with the portable 3D device than the original 10 - 15 mins we first got back at E3. Not only that, but it seems like they’ll also be treated to a presentation by NOA’s President Reggie Fils-Aime, who I’m hoping will finally drop the bomb on what exactly the final price tag will be. $250? $299? It’s gonna be a wild day that’s for sure, but what I can’t stop speculating about is if we’ll see those models attached to the 3DS systems like they were during E3 - (Picture very related.)
