Report - AT&T prepping for September iPhone 5 launch
We’ve heard about this possible September launch of the next iteration of the iPhone for months, but now it’s becoming more and more of a solid fact. Though we aren’t really sure on much of anything in terms of hardware design changes or additionally built-in features, but there’s some wind out there that gives credence to a non-bezel finish that stretches the touch screen end to end.
BGR reports:
“We have been told that AT&T has begun informing employees across the company, and those who work in retail locations, to finish any sort of employee training as soon as possible. AT&T is asking managers to finish training in order to have employees available for the influx of foot traffic expected in September, a proven source has shared with us.”
Where this information is coming from is up in the air but it’s definitely got some weight to it considering everyone else is saying the same thing. Not very exciting, I know, but that’s the latest update for those of you still sportin’ a 3GS (and I’m one of them.)
