T-Mobile forced to remove HD2 software update

Remember how momentous the T-Mobile HD2 update was: Bluebirds were in the air, young love was being rekindled, and the sun shone as though a mystic being was touching the earth. Okay, so none of that stuff actually happened, but in the long run it’s probably a good thing. T-Mobile was recently forced to remove the HD2’s software update after receiving several complaints from disgruntled users. Unfortunately for those who updated their Windows Mobile flagship device, their handset was destined to fail.
More specifically, the update refused to download (that one’s not the real biggie), battery life was diminished to a point where the handset was unusable, phones became bricked (while children cried naturally), and lastly, handsets became slower than what they were previously — we’ll tip our hats to the latter complaint, after all who would’ve thought that a Windows Mobile 6.5 device could become slower than what it already is; good job T-Mobile. We’ll update you when the HD2’s software shortcomings become updated… again. In the meantime just sit tight.
