T3ch H3lp "CleanSlate" provides full article viewing with no clutter
Here at T3ch H3lp, we pay attention to 3 major things when focusing on user experience and design. First we look at what looks good, what draws attention and pleases the eyes. Second, we look at functionality, and what is required to run a blog in an efficient and simplistic way. The third is very important — it’s what sets us apart from other blogs.
The third thing is what makes T3ch H3lp what it is — we look at great ideas that we never put to use, and figure out why we don’t. Most of the time, it has to do with revenue, promotion tools and mechanisms to keep people on our website, like featured content. What we decided is, we want to cater to our every day, dedicated readers and create a tool for them to use however, and whenever they want.
No clutter, just content
CleanSlate will allow you to view articles without the sidebar, and that alone cleans things up. You can explore an article in a super-wide, font and center layout and avoid distractions. This is something no other technology blog offers, and we think it is a very vital part of your reading experience because when you want to read, the content should steal the show.
You may ask “well how do I get the sidebar back when I want to see the short-url, or see more articles?”, well there is a big button to the far right that will set everything back to normal so you can access the sidebar just as always.
We’d love to hear from you!
This is a fresh release and not quite fully baked, so feel free to shoot us an email, send us a Tweet or leave a comment and we will read your suggestions, compliments and complaints, and apply your ideas to any changes we make. Thanks for reading, and we hope you love CleanSlate (we just made up that name like 10 min ago), for the lol’s of course.
Note - CleanSlate isn’t compatible with Internet Explorer yet
