    t3ch Review: Logitech Z320 Speakers

    Product: Logitech Z320 Speakers
What it says it does: Floods every corner of your room with Logitech 360-degree sound
My Experience: Plug them into a power outlet, plug them into your pc, laptop, or mp3 player and you’re set to go. It really doesn’t get any simpler than that. The speakers look lite, as in simplistic and practical -The glossy finish makes you think “awesome” at first, but the practicality of it is non-existent since its a finger print and dust magnet. But despite that, they look great and make any computing set up look worlds better.

If you turn the speakers around you’ll find a second driver - speaker thing, which you may be wondering what it’s meant for. Well, the closer the rear drivers are to a wall, the richer and more complete the sound will be to whatever it is you’re listening to; this is what they mean by 360 degree audio. And finally, a headphone jack can be found on the bottom right side of the speaker that also houses the volume knob control - which is convenient if you need to listen to something privately in a jiffy. And to note, the drivers have no covers on them which can be a good or bad thing depending on each user - for me I like the no cover since it adds to the elegant design.

As for the sound quality I must say that the Z320’s really hit the sweet spot. They can get quite loud but they don’t distort your audio as the volume goes up - not from my tests, that is. The one downside though can be that the bass is lacking but that’s because these are 2.0 speakers and have no subwoofer to lay on the heavy sound for you; The speakers alone won’t provide much back up support there, but when placed close to a wall you can fully utilize all 4 drivers and get a much richer and overall complete sound.

For me they easily could replace my current 2.1 setup simply on looks alone, but for some the lack of bass support may be a deal breaker. But because the set is made for ease of use and portability they are meant for those who just want a quick audio fix, and by those standard they make the cut without breaking a sweat, and look good while doing it too.

Pro’s: sleek glossy design, drivers on front and back, 360 degree sound range
Con’s: collects dust easily, no driver covers, not a lot of bass
    Price: $45 - $60
Where to buy it: Amazon, Logitech
