And you thought your iPhone 4 had problems, get a load of this: BGR has recently been tipped with what we can only call the craziest iPhone 4 issue thus far (well, maybe not an issue, it’s only been confirmed in one device). What you’re looking at here are the charred remnants of an iPhone 4 and its 30-pin USB connector cable.
As the story goes, this unlucky user had his iPhone plugged into his computer when it decided to burst into flames — oh and according to the AT&T reps that saw the device, the bezel was so hot it burnt the hands of its owner (ouch!). According to an Apple Store that checked things out, there’s nothing to worry about, they just believe this device was fitted with a defective USB port. Oh, and being Apple they also stated that a degree of user error is to blame.
