Thwipster - Daily deals for geeky books and figures

For anyone who calls himself a geek it’s hard to say that you don’t enjoy reading in some capacity. Whether it be through fantasy novels or just comics, we’re all into some sort of habit of collectively reading groups of words within binded covers. Or maybe you’d rather stare at a casted figure of your favorite character in geekdom. Regardless of which of the two you’re into, Thwipster’s got you covered.

Like the w00t.com of the geek world, Thwipster.com does daily and weekly deals on some of the best graphic novels and figures you’d ever care to spend your time on.

Thwipster’s Company Blog:

“Welcome to Thwipster…the daily deal website for your inner geek!!! Do you like deals? Well, we love a deal; especially, when it’s for a great graphic novel or awesome action figure that we crave for so deeply. So, instead of wishing there was a daily deal website that could provide spectacular bargains for all those cool things that we adore and hold dear, we decided to start one ourselves!

We hope to provide our fellow geeks with the best products in the geek/pop culture universe, and we will stand by our motto….”If we don’t think it’s cool…you won’t see it here on Thwipster.”

The site’s layout is quite simple, only hosting two available products at anytime during a day. There’s a newletter to sign up to, or a Twitter feed to follow, if you want to keep up to date with what’s coming in and what’s going out on a daily basis. While sales are conducted through Thwipster’s own site, shipping and packaging is taken care of through Amazon, ensuring your items are fulfilled properly. But what if you want to take a look at what you’re physically going to be holding in your hands once you’ve ordered your item? Thwipster offers video previews of each item they sell:

But what if you’re digging the concept but there’s nothing of interest being sold on the site day in and day out? Well, Thwipster would like to hear your feedback, as they host a survey at all times asking what other types of items you’d like to see featured as a daily deal: http://www.thwipster.com/pages/survey.
