Verizon knows about LTE modem handoff issue, says fix and Mac support is on the way

Most were thoroughly impressed with Verizon’s speedy  LTE network, however as is the case with new tech there were a few issues — specifically, handing off from an EVDO connection to an LTE one, and the lack of Mac support. Talking with Computerworld earlier today, Verizon stated that they’re currently in the process of remedying both issues and an update should hit “relatively soon.” In the same interview with Computerworld, Verizon stated:

“Hand-offs can take up to a couple minutes, but that was expected and a fix is in the works… Mac is not yet supported, and we’ve been working on drivers for Mac OS for weeks, and expect to update relatively soon.” - Verizon
