Totilo defends Modern Warfare on MSNBC - Fox News runs Over SlashGamer blogger

Two videos, two interview styles, and two completely different ways an uninformed audience can interpret Modern Warfare 2. On MSNBC, well spoken Kotaku Editor, Stephen Totilo (the same guy who got beat by Soulja Boy on Geometry Wars) came on and set the record straight about the most anticipated game of the year. His interview went so much better than Slashgamer’s John Christensen’s Fox News appearance.

Remember all those wonderful features and goodies Microsoft promised us? Well, you now have permission to get hella excited for great new apps coming to your Xbox in 5 days! Yes, we know, people who signed up for the beta have been using the features for a couple of weeks now, but now everyone will be able to check them out. Some time of the day on November 17th, users will be able to login to Xbox LIVE and check out the totally bodacious new stuff available to be social, without ever taking off your smelly weekend pajamas.

Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm (US and UK only) modules will all be featured, not to mention on-demand 1080p / 5.1-channel HD video through the Zune Video outlet. Also you will see a "News and More" section in the "Inside Xbox" channel with streams from MSNBC, The New Yorker and Dilbert.

See it all here!

Netflix PS3 Streaming Review

Look what came in the mail today. Yeah, yeah, I know, why do PS3 user's need a disc when the 360 get's it implemented right into its firmware. Well, to sum it up simply: Microsoft has an exclusive deal with Netflix that lasts until some time late next year. The way in which Netflix is accessible is the binding thing about the contract, however with a loop hole for Blu-Ray discs, Sony was able to get Netflix on their system a year before Microsoft's deal ended. So if you think about it, it was a strategic thing for Sony as they'd have a chance to get in on the action rather than just see MS hog the service for another year.

So how does the PS3's interface compare to the 360's?

The Dell Zino HD - out now, under $250

If you remember, we wrote a story about an upcoming Dell mini computer called the Zino HD back in early August. Well, its finally out and boy is it hard to not want to scoop one of these up right away.

The Inspiron Zino HD, which seems to be made to replace the aging "tower" design, is both appealing to the eyes and practical for nearly everything you'd want a simple desktop to do, and more. HDMI out of the box, 4 USB ports (2 in front, 2 in the rear), 2 eSata ports, an SD card reader - these features, plus the sleek & stylish design make it the perfect holiday gift for anyone who doesn't want to fiddle around looking for a "good" PC.

Sign up to get your 360 Bayonetta Demo

Bayonetta has been causing quite a stir in the gaming world - both in the East and West markets. Shown at E3 earlier in the year, it made gamers froth at the mouth watching Bayonetta’s stunning protagonist simply rip monsters apart with her long and sexy back hair. Taking everything good away from the Devil May Cry franchise, DMC creator Hideki Kamiya has moved from Capcom to Sega, and given them a leg up on the competition by making Bayonetta a title to rival even God of War.

The game’s already been released in Japan and it’s due to come out in in the states this January, but Sega is giving out a couple thousand - well, more like 40,000 - Xbox 360 demos to a lucky few. Sign up and register for a SEGA Pass account (free) by Nov. 16th and you may get a chance to experience what it’s like to fight as a stunning witch with guns hidden in her high heels. Mmm sexy.

Microsoft Store tour in Mission Viejo

I've lived in California on and off for the past couple of years, and what would you know, they open a Microsoft Store just minutes away from where I used to live. And right when I decide to move too! Frustrating to say the least.

Fortunately, for all of us though, Techno Buffalo's Jon Rettinger lives pretty close to Mission Viejo, where the 2nd Microsoft Store in the world just recently opened up.

The MS store seems to a bit Apple-esque, eh? But I must admit I am digging it's vibe.
