This is one of those apps that makes the iPhone really shine. iCar Remote is an app that can not only start your car, roll down the windows, and turn the lights on and off, but it can also drive the car using a combo of WiFi and GPS working with the accelerometer.

Facebook to be launching Location Based Services

If this is true, we can all kiss Gowalla and Foursquare goodbye - because everything Facebook does these days, everyone needs to adapt to except the general public. Every time Facebook adds a new feature, changes something, or in this case, does something that other companies already do, it puts the pressure on everyone to keep up and adapt - same story with Google. The thing is though, Facebook is going to be launching some new Location Based features that are going to give them a leg up in this “Location Social Media”, but unfortunately stepping on Gowalla and Foursquare’s faces to get their - more info after the break!
