Just how many iPhone and Android users use their device to get onto Facebook and other social media apps? Well, according to an infographic done by Onavo, a company who helps manage and compress your data usage through a self-titled app, you’d be surprised just how little any service outisde of Twitter and Facebook get any attention, if at all, on either mobile device. — More after the break!

Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4 commercial smackdown

Over the past few weeks there’s been a bit of “heat” between AT&T and Verizon, and Apple is in the middle loving every minute of it. It’s turned into somewhat of a multi-million dollar, passive agressive argument between in-laws, and there’s no sign of it stopping. But no matter what happens Apple will emerge with its pockets lined with money and lots of it. Let the smackdown begin! — More after the break!

Infographic: Facebook vs Twitter from a marketing perspective

Facebook and Twitter are the two biggest social applications that we know of in the social space. Facebook is by far the biggest social network in the world with over 500 million users vs. twitter’s 106 million. BlackBerry PlayBook Demo - Better than expected

If anything, this goes to show that BlackBerry may be back in the game — the consumer game that is. By the looks of the PlayBook, it seems to be as responsive as the iPad, and in some cases even faster. If you had a choice between the iPad and the PlayBook which one would you get?

Blackberry Playbook compared to the iPad - by Blackberry

As you can see, the Playbook totally destroys the iPad in every aspect of the web — but in Blackberry’s eyes, the web is about “performance” and not “usability + performance”. If you think hard about what a tablet means to most consumers, battery-life seems to be a number one priority, and the iPad has some sort of limitations put on performance in the name of battery life. Sure the Playbook seems to have more horsepower, but what is the battery like in the real world? — Plus, we really want to play with one (they look so cool!) before we make judgements.

Grilling Contest - iPhone vs Android vs Windows Phone 7

This certainly isn’t a phone comparison you see everyday and probably isn’t how you’re going to determine which phone to get - but it is definitely a pretty neat publicity stunt! In this viral video, an iPhone 4, T-Mobile G2, and HTC Surround are throw onto an EZ Grill and smoked to a crisp. Which phone can withstand heat the longest? Find out in this video!

Macbook Air vs the Macbook Pro - The Air boots faster

This is one of the only good comparisons I could find of the Macbook Air, and the Macbook Pro — but that’s not all — the guy has a Scottish accent which makes it 100% more awesome right off the bat! The part that really shocked us was the fact that the Macbook Air actually managed to boot almost 2X faster than the Macbook Pro (due to the solid-state drives), and in the GeekBench test, the Macbook Air beat all of the older models, but the Macbook Pro still beat them all in terms of overall power. All in all, the Macbook air seems like a (somewhat) well rounded machine, and is destined to be another hit success with Apple fanboys.
