The Evolution of Privacy on Facebook
The Evolution of Privacy on Facebook
As we all know, Facebook has failed time and time again when it comes to privacy. Heck, recently they started deleting users posts!
I have now come to realize that people are missing the big picture, and by that I mean the “timeline” of Facebook’s privacy. I recently found this very interesting visualization, depicting the changes to Facebook’s privacy policy’s over the past 5 years, and it is a real eye opener - Check it out

Yahoo is becoming a second Facebook »
Today, TechCrunch broke the news that “Tomorrow Yahoo will announce a relaunch of Yahoo Profiles and their ‘all in’ integration with Facebook Connect, including on the Yahoo home page”, and to me, it sounds like Yahoo is trying desperately to latch on to the Social-Media wagon.
There is some really shocking stuff coming, and TechCrunch has all the screenshots!
Video - Lego Printer that uses a felt tip marker
HorseAttack on Youtube has built an actual, working printer made of Lego - and he has a few things to say about it. He says that it took him about 3 weeks to make, and that it does not use Lego mindstorms. Instead, he custom built the “Lego felt tip 110” printer using homemade analog electronics and sensors, a MCU demo board, and Lego (of course!)
Video after the break!

Xbox 360 Review - Alan Wake
When’s the last time you’ve seen a game by Remedy? Or how about just a good horror game, for that matter? Well, as was promised, Alan Wake has finally dropped for the Xbox 360; billed by the company as a psychological action thriller it attempts to stray away from your typical shooter, mixing up a suspenseful story with some scare elements to keep you on your toes the whole way. Does it succeed in these respects? Sort of and not really.

Vanquish First Look Gameplay Trailer
Platinum Games, recently known for their sexually stylized hit, Bayonetta, has been hard at work on their latest project, Vanquish. Headed by the creator of the original Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami, they hope to expand on what we’ve usually come to expect from your ordinary, run of the mill third person shooter.
Vanquish is a mix of Halo, Crysis, and Gears all mashed into one fast paced, action packed game. No word on a release date, demo, or whatever, but I’m sure we’ll hear a lot more in two weeks from Sega when E3 rolls around.

Safari 5 may be arriving at WWDC with Bing and "Reader" support »
Apple Insider has discovered that Apple may in fact be showing off Safari 5 at WWDC 2010. They say that “Newly revealed documents suggest that Apple could launch Safari 5 with a new ‘Reader’ feature, the addition of Bing search support and expanded HTML5 support…”
We have a feeling that it is going to happen because Safari 4 was launched on almost the exact date, but what the heck is “Reader” support? Apple insider has more (click the title to read more)
