26% of iPhones break in 2 years »
This may sound horrible, but this report is broken down into two parts. 18.1% is due to accidental damage caused by a person, and only 7.5% is due to actual hardware malfunction. This overall percentage has gone down from 33% just one year ago. It’s no doubt that iPhones are getting better, but they are also getting tougher! - Read more
What's Under the Nintendo 3DS' Hood?
With new hardware come new hardware specs - so what’s under the hood of Nintendo’s latest handheld, the 3DS? There were early reports that the Kyoto based gaming giant was going to go with the Nvidia Tegra chip, but now we’ve learned that the handheld will be hosting a PICA200 GPU chip. What does this mean exactly? Well, I’m not going to pretend to know what I’m talking about, so how about we watch a video on just what this GPU chip is capable of, and what we can expect from the upcoming Nintendo 3DS. And if we recount what the Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil tech demos looked like, then they’re definite indicators that we’re heading somewhere special with Nintendo.

Tom Merritt joins Revision 3 with a new show
Most of us remember the sad day when Tom Merritt left Buzz Out Loud to move onto better, bigger things, but we never knew it would be this cool!
Recently, Tom started a new show on the TWiT network called “Tech News Today” (or TNT) which has toped the charts on iTunes in a matter of days. Now, he has started up a new show called “Tom’s top 5” on Revision3. What do you think about it?
Jailbreaking your iPhone unlocks all iOS 4 features - worth it?
With iOS4 finally out and thousands of iPhone and iPod touch users flocking towards the new operating system, many people are finding themselves disappointed with the features that were allowed on their device. All iDevices (except for the original iPhone and the iPod Touch 1 gen) get the new springboard dock and basic features such as folders and a unified inbox, but Apple has disabled other features such as multitasking or home screen wallpapers on all devices other than the 3GS, 3rd Gen iPod Touch and the new iPhone 4. With these key features missing, users feel left out in the cold unless they slap down another $200 or more for an ungraded device.

HD Video from the iPhone 4 Camera
Haven’t you heard? The iPhone 4 is available - and some units have arrived very early, so naturally, someone who got theirs early decided to take some sample video. By the looks of it, its not the best quality we have seen from a camera, but it’s great for a smartphone. This camera looks to be perfect for capturing some family moments, or randomly panning around your front yard - Video after the break!
