16 Facts about the Blackberry you may not Know »
I love gadgets, and I know a fair bit about them — but I learned a few things about Blackberry today. I knew they were Canadian, and I knew they were bigger than iPhone — but I didn’t know where the name “Blackberry” came from, or that “Berrythumb” is a disease. Now I know…
Cassette Tape Case for your iPhone 4 makes other cases redundant
Have you ever felt like your iPhone 4 would be so much more useful if it was encased in an old tape cassette looking case? You have?! Well then you’re going to love this. The company responsible for the case, Fred and Friends, stated that much like similar silicon cases, your handset is handsomely placed into the little retro box. It may protect your phone, but the magic-awesomeness-o’-fun doesn’t stop there.
Nokia N8 to launch September 30th
I’d almost forgot about Nokia’s latest offering the N8 — especially with the release of Samsung’s Galaxy S line — but according Nokia’s Senior Comms Manager, Tapani Kaskinen, the long awaited Nokia N8 will “begin shipping 30th September.” Now, despite being machine translated from Finnish newspaper Kauppalehti, the date mentioned is pretty believable. Apparently, one of them is as simple as jailbreakme.com. That also means that Apple will be able to simply release a 4.1.1 and patch it. The 2nd method is buried deep in the bootrom, making it a heck of a lot harder for Apple to disable the crack but also hard for the user to apply. Well, in just two days we’ll find out what method comex will use to pee on Apple’s paunch parade.

Apple sucks at Photoshop - iPod touch has a "phone" app?
Apple sucks at Photoshop - iPod touch has a "phone" app?
Recently, Apple announced some new iPods and a new Apple TV — but little did they know, their new iPod touch product page featured graphics of an iPod touch with a “phone” app. Obviously this was a mistake, and we’re sure Steve Jobs gave them hell, but no more than 20 min passed after MaximumPC pointed it out, it was fixed. There you have it folks.

Craigslist gets rid of Hookers »
“After months of pressure from state attorneys general, Craigslist pulled its adult services listings offline over the Labor Day weekend. Visitors to the site were greeted with a black bar with the word “censored” in white text (as seen to the right) where the link to the adult services listings would normally be.” — Ars Technica
