How to Kill Internet Explorer with Kindness

Every time someone un-installs Internet Explorer, an Angel gets it’s wings. Every single time someone visits our website (t3chh3lp.com) using Internet Explorer, our confidence in new web technologies diminishes. This needs to stop, and by that I mean un-compliant browsers (IE 6&7) need to go away… forever… very soon. We’re waiting for the day that Microsoft Launches IE 9, which will bring CSS3 support, HTML5 support and all the goodies we expect to the table — but it’s going to be a decade before everyone upgrades. Why? I’ll tell you.

Samsung claims they'll ship 10 million Galaxy Tabs by 2011

Well, Samsung sure doesn’t waste anytime when it comes down to making some pretty ambitious claims. Kevin Rose: why Digg v4 sucks now, and why it will soon be awesome

Digg v4 has become a battered, bruised and withered shell of Digg v3 — but recently, Digg v4 has begun to spring into life. The porn section Upcoming News section is back, and among other things, Digg v4 is shaping up to be a great, mainstream success.

On this week’s Diggnation episode, Kevin decided to redeem himself, and apologize for the mistakes he and the Digg team made. Further more, he dives into the backstory of why Digg v4 crippled itself on the first week, and what he is doing to get Digg back on it’s feet.

All I have to say is, after this rant, Kevin has not only earned my respect back, but he has taught me a lot — if people like something, you did the right thing. If they hate it, back to work. Better is the enemy of good, but good isn’t great.

Samsung Orion 1GHz Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor is a go!

Clearly, 1GHz single core ARM Cortex-A9 processors are a thing of the past…. at least now that Samsung has announced their new dual-core Orion chip. The freshly primed dual-core Orion silicon promises to blow us out of the water; especially now that it’s “5 times the 3D graphics performance over the previous processor generation from Samsung.”

3 Strikes Against the Samsung Galaxy Tab

With all the excitement about Samsung’s first real challenger to the IPad, there are 3 things that have me worried about this tablet. And you could probably say this about other tablets as well. But in short, I’ll keep it brief.
