This Video is Entirely CGI - No real-life footage

From the creator of one of the most successful short films of all time, “The Third & The Seventh” comes his latest creation, a commercial for Silestone. It may seem as though the video is partially camera footage, but it is not — this commercial is 100% pure CGI with no cameras used. Truly awesome!

Webcomic of the Week - Boxer Hockey

This week, our web-comic radar points to the master of facial expression and oddball humor, Tyson Hesse’s webcomic Boxer Hockey. This series comes with a bit of a warning, its a little bit like syrup covered pancakes — you start with just one, than another, than before you know it, your done them all, and craving some more.

PSA: Talking to your kids about Star Wars

It’s important to start from a young age and make sure they don’t get pushed astray. In this video, the Asylum gets serious with a new PSA: Talking with your kids about Star Wars. A hilarious comment from the Youtube Clip was — “This helps tremendously. But is there also a support group for parents who need to discuss Monty Python with their children? That’s my issue today.” by Poultrygeist99

The Google eBooks Commercial is really neat - Video

Google eBooks is yet another player in the online book store battle, now having Amazon, iBooks, Sony’s store and a handful of others in the game, things can become a little chopped up. What Google eBooks hopes to do is unify eBook purchases and make it possible to read your books on any device — be it a computer, iPad, Kindle or Android device. Their new commercial pretty much sums it up in one of the coolest paper-crafty ways.

PayPal is down and under DDoS attacks by 4Chan in the name of WikiLeaks

Updated on Dec 8, 2010 by Registered CommenterBrandon Davenport

Well, the Wikileaks riot has officially started, namely because 4Chan has jumped into the scene and is pummeling websites left and right — Tumblr.com may have been just a test. Dubbed OpPayback, Anonymous (for new folks “Anonymous” are the warriors of 4Chan) has started successful attacks on Visa.com, and have now moved onto the meat of the operation, PayPal — but why has this riot broken out?

Inside the Flying Machine Arena - Where Quadrotors plot the Robot Apocalypse

If anything, this is the modern-day Skynet - A secret lab with hundreds of buzzing autonomous Manhacks that could rip your face off in seconds. Getting past the fact that all of mankind is doomed, this is pretty cool - I mean a whole lab dedicated to epic flying robots?

Google Wave is reborn by the Apache Software Foundation

Google Wave has gone down in history as one of Google’s biggest failures - but for the people who enjoyed Wave, the news that Google was killing off Wave was heartbreaking. Recently, a team of highly notable technology firms such as Solute, Novell, SESI and the University Duisburg-Essen have embraced the Wave, and are helping Apache and Google round out support and keep Google Wave alive. Who knows if it will ever be a “success”, but it’s here to stay for a little while longer.
