Xbox Live and Playstation Network get Rewards Programs

I remember when the 360 first came out with achievement points, and everyone thought they were going to be used as some sort of currency to buy things on Xbox Live’s marketplace. Fast forward nearly 5 years later and here we are just BARELY getting into any sort of a rewards program - and it doesn’t even include those pesky achievements you’ve worked so hard to get. Not only that, but Playstation is also getting into the rewarding mood with a program of their own, that interestingly enough includes quests! — More details after the break!

Windows Phone 7 shown using Copy and Paste in Video

Windows Phone 7 was originally criticised for lacking copy and paste, but as was with the original iPhone most got over it quickly. Video after the break!

More specifically, they’ve been spotting code that deals with the button layout for Sony controllers. The discovery of said code supports what we’ve seen so far of the PlayStation Phone — i.e. similar clam shell and design to the PSP Go.

App Store for OS X Coming Out Next Week

Apple’s new App Store for Mac could be released as early as Monday December 13. Appletell has leaked this information citing an “inside source”. Apple has stated that they want to release the new app store in time for the winter season, and this could mainly be credited to Apple not wanting to miss the holiday shopping season, and seems highly likely that they will get this out before Christmas.
