    Make your own Flowcharts

I love nifty flowcharts. Easy to read, and helpful in many cases. Now you can make your own when you go to Creately's website. You can make as many as you want, but there are a few restrictions and such... Hey, they have to make money somehow! You'll need to pay up if you're looking for the extra's.

    Okami(den) sequel First gameplay video

Okami was game of the year material, so seeing chances of a sequel fade when Clover was disbanded was a bit depressing. But alas, here, we are given a new iteration in the series but this time on the DS - a welcome platform for the style of gameplay Okami offered.

OLED Lappy's coming out Next Year?

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) is the next step in tech. Right now we're, I would say, a bit past the halfway point in the transition between Standard and Hi Def. For the most part if you're up to date then I'm sure you have yourself a nice crisp LCD monitor right in front of you. If not, then get one - they're cheap! LCD's changed things up a bit by freeing up space when compared to their CRT brothers, but now what's up with these new OLED monitors you're hearing about? Let's take a look real quick at one.

OLED's can be so thin that there are some even as thick as a couple sheets of paper. Of course with new tech comes heavy prices, but that isn't stopping manufacturer's like Samsung to start incorporating this into upcoming products. Not even talking about desktops monitors here either. We're already seeing plans for these new OLED's in notebooks.

At a recent event, speaking about OLED equipped notebooks...

Kyu Uhm, Head of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Samsung's Computing Division, said that the company would look to release towards the end of 2010

Quite an estimate I would say.

Patrick Povel, European Senior Product Manager, was quick to add that analyst Gartner believes mainstream OLED notebooks will become the norm over the next half-decade. And Samsung is clearly set on the idea, having previously shown off an OLED prototype notebook. Povel had previously spoken about the PC becoming more personal than ever before, and that the days of one PC per household are gone. "We're moving towards one PC per person, the computer is becoming personal... the growth is coming from the low end."

BREAKING: Iphone gets MMS Sept. 25th

Apple announced their Rock N' Roll event next week, and people were speculating that we'd get an announcement on MMS for the iPhone at that time, however Christmas has come early this year.

We know many of our iPhone customers are eager for an update on our rollout schedule for Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). We've been working for the past several months to prepare our systems and network to ensure the best possible experience with MMS when it launches – and that launch date is: September 25 for iPhone 3G and 3GS customers. MMS will be enabled through a software update on that day.

How to use Gmail while your offline

After yesterday's 8 hour downtime of Gmail I'm sure some people out there were a bit worried of how to access their precious emails. So is there a way to get to them without forwarding them to Outlook or another desktop application? Well, Google came up with a solution earlier this year with their Google Lab's "Offline Gmail" add-on.

Blaring music Good for You... sorta

    Flickr by _ES

Crank up the volume to 11 on your iPod and jam out! Apparently, listening to loud music is a great way to stimulate your brain. However, it's not a great idea to because it could screw up your ear drums. So there's a trade off.

According to researchers at Manchester University, music fans are stimulating part of the inner ear known as the sacculus, which responds to the beat in music. This gives the brain pleasure and makes us feel good - during the music and afterwards.

Neil Todd, an expert in the scientific study of music, explains that the sacculus. He said it has a connection to the part of the brain responsible for drives such as hunger, sex and hedonistic responses. When these desires are satisfied, the brain is stimulated into releasing feelgood hormones that make us calm, happy and responsive.
