Monster Announces Justin Bieber Beats, iPod Dock, New Headphones

Today at the Beats by Dr. Dre Fall Preview, Monster certainly blew the crowd away performances from Soulja Boy along with Keri Hilson and 5 new interesting products. First up, let’s talk about the Beat Box. Cleverly named, it’s basically a slick $400 iPod dock pumping your phat beats by massive 5.25 inch bass drivers. iFixit Rips the New Apple TV to Shreds - 30 Pin Dock Connector?

Without breaking a sweat, iFixit has revealed all the internals of the 2nd gen Apple TV to the world. Ranking an 8 out of 10 on their fixability scale, you shouldn’t have much problem taking it apart yourself. Though we thought there wasn’t a single byte of storage in the new set top box, we were forced to think again when the site found 8 GB of Samsung K9LCG08U1M NAND Flash inside. iFixit calls this “remarkable for a $99 device.” The A4 processor is the exact same as the one in the iPhone 4, iPad, and new iPod Touch. Model number A1378 has precisely 256 MB of RAM, also found in the iPad. And lastly, the most interesting discovery was a hidden 30 pin dock connector port. Hackers, nudge nudge.

Sony Ericsson LiveView: 1.3 inch Smartphone Remote

Somewhere in the world, a Sony Ericsson designer saw the iPod Nano watch and decided they needed to do that for their Xperia Android phones. What is the LiveView? A 1.3 inch 128 x 128 OLED touchscreen that acts as a remote control for your Sony Ericsson Android 2.x device. Yes, you heard right, it only works with the software version that they haven’t even shipped on their own Xperia smartphones yet. Anyways, the little Bluetooth square can control your music and act as a widget other functions on your phone. And yes, Sony actually does intend for you to wear it like a watch with their watchband accessory.
