Assassin's Creed 2 PC Release Date Announced, "Extra Content" to be featured

Although it was supposed to come out at the same time as the 360 and PS3 version, the PC version of Assassin's Creed 2 was delayed until "early 2010." Well, after quite some waiting we finally have some information on the PC version's release date and content. Now slated for a March 16th 2010 release date, Ubisoft revealed that the two paid DLC packs for the console versions, the "Battle of Forli" which is due out on Jan 28th and the "Bonfire of the Vanities" which is arriving in February, will be packaged in the PC version.

Ubisoft also announced a "Black Edition" which is available exclusively to digital distribution retailers (Steam, Direct2Drive etc.) that will contain unspecified "extra content" for an extra 10 dollars.

It also has some pretty steep requirements for it to be able to run. PC requirements after the jump.
