PC - Frozen Synapse Review

Frozen Synapse is an indie release from Mode 7 Games, that is simply a breath of fresh air and an extremely fun game. Interesting graphics and art style, combined with a form of turn-based strategy gameplay similar to the old Rainbow Six games, makes for one heck of a time with or without friends. If you enjoy strategy games or chess, you won’t want to put this one down. — Our review after the break!

E3 2011 -- Rapture's got nothing on Bioshock Infinite's Columbia

Irrational Games has been hard at work on Bioshock Infinite and after the waves they made with the original, we’re all eyes on what fantastic stuff they can make with this prequel (?). The friendship between Booker and Elizabeth looks like something along the lines of Gordon and Alyx and if that’s the case, you can bet this game will be something special.

E3 2011 -- Bing, Youtube, LiveTV, and Cloud storage features heading to Xbox this fall

With the large Kinect focus during the Microsoft Press Conference, it’s easy to forget what Microsoft announced for its New, New, (New?) “Xbox Experience”. From Bing to Youtube, Xbox basically has everything you need besides actual internet browsing, and with most of those primarily for use on Kinect, Microsoft is hoping to change the way you view your content. — Details after the break!

E3 2011 - Mass Effect 3 gameplay is action packed

It’s basically a known fact that after Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3 needed to be bigger, bolder and return some of its RPG roots back to the series. It seems their doing just that and you can check out the first gameplay trailer right here!

PS3 - Brink Review

Brink is a very ambitious game; crafted by the developers of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and published by Bethesda, Brink attempts to blur the line between the singleplayer and multiplayer experiences offered by other shooters with varied results. The concept is cool, the aesthetics are stylish yet it still falls flat due to a lack of actual content, a story that feels a little baren, and some of the worst bots I’ve ever seen. This leads into a game that’s “just okay”, but with a few balance changes here and there, it’s very easy to see how the game could justify the high price point down the road. — Our review after the break!

PS3 - L.A. Noire Review

Well, let’s start this off by saying you’ve probably never played a game quite like this. From GTA developers Rockstar and Australian based Team Bondi, L.A. Noire is an ambitiously different kind of title with unbelieveably realistic facial animations, and innovative gameplay, that’s a cross up between the regular open world aspects of GTA and the investigative prowess found in something akin to a Phoenix Wright game. It’s a fascinating experience in its own right and the story, gameplay, and graphics more than make up for its few flaws. — Our review after the break!

Modern Warfare 3's First Gameplay Trailer

Well, after the giant Kotaku leak last week, Infinity Ward and Sledghhammer have come out and shown the first official gameplay trailer for Modern Warfare 3. They seem to be billing this as their fictional World War 3 but the real war between them and Battlefield 3 will be a true sight to behold. Let’s hope the game itself turns out to be better then it’s previous modern installment!
