Gran Tursimo 5 Needs 10 GB HD Space to Run "Smoothly"
No I’m not kidding. Kazunori Yamauchi has recently tweeted that while Gran Turismo 5 will be an optional install on the PS3, he feels that the way to ensure the game runs smoothly, you’ll need 10GB of space on your hard drive. Now before you go and delete all that stuff on your PS3, know that you’ll only need 256 MB of space so tons of players can still play the game.

Dragon Age 2 Gets An Epic CG Trailer
While we’ve had little information on Dragon Age 2, we do know that some fairly large changes are coming to the game series, from a protagonist who has a voice to a more Mass Effect style dialogue system. While some people aren’t fans of the way the series is going, Bioware still knows how to release a very good looking CG trailer and it’s getting me excited for the follow up to one of the best games of 2009!
Castle Crashers Finally gets a Date for It's PSN Release!
Hey, you remember Castle Crashers, right? That awesome downloadable title that came out waaaaay back in 2008? Well, PS3 players weren’t able to experience the awesomeness of farting deer and killer popcorn because it never came to their system. The Behemoth has been promising to release it on Sony’s platform and almost two years later, it’s finally going to happen.

SWTOR Trailer Shows Off Space Combat, Looks a Little Shallow
A new trailer has been released for The Old Republic, showing off the recently announced space combat for The Old Republic. While many of us were hoping for something along the lines of X-Wing or Tie Fighter, the best flight combat games ever, instead we get something of an on-rails shooter. I’m not really sure how this incorporates the MMO aspect of the game but I guess they needed someway to get from planet to planet, right? Anyways, check out the trailer and share your opinion in the comments!

Halo: Reach "A Spartan is Born" Vidoc Introduces Noble Team
While we eagerly await for September 14th to roll on by, Bungie has released yet another trailer for their upcoming game: Halo: Reach. This one introduces the members of Noble Team, the handpicked squad of Spartans enlisted to hold off an entire Covennant armada. From Noble-1 to Noble-6, they all seem interesting and lifelike, a quality that hasn’t exactly appeared in Bungie’s previous games. The trailer is looking great and just gets me even more excited about September. Bring on the Covenant!

EA Announces Mass Effect 2 for PS3
While we have a ton of news today thanks to Gamescom, an announcement at EA’s press conference this morning has made every PS3 user do a little dance in happiness. Bioware has just announced that Mass Effect 2 will be coming, along with “hours of additional content,” to a PS3 near you in January 2011. Unfortunately, EA confirmed to IGN that they have “no plans” to bring the original Mass Effect to Sony’s system. While a reason wasn’t given, many assume it has something to do with the fact that Microsoft published the original on Xbox 360 and PC. Either way, PS3 fans rejoice!
