Bioshock Infinite's E3 demo in its full 14 minute, time-tearing glory
Bioshock Infinite was quite frankly the most talked about game of this year’s E3, and it all was due to the gameplay demo that was shown to select press behind closed doors. The first game’s setting was an underwater eutopia known as Rapture, home for the rich and politically restless —Infinite’s home however is now set in 1912 Columbia, a city based within the skies that travels the globe in hopes to spread the American ideals across borders from the clouds. The gameplay is familiar but one thing that will blow your mind are the newly introduced “tears” in time.
It’s been about a month since the world was shown Nintendo’s Wii U, Sony’s PS Vita, and the 360’s plans to create a whole new Halo trilogy. While the Big 3 are waging war against each other with exclusives and shiny new hardware, 3rd party developers are still finding ways to bring out the best and brightest games out of this generation’s 6th year. And if there’s any indication that we still have a lot to look forward to, it’s Bioshock Infinite.
Bioshock Infinite is due out sometime 2012.
