3DS 'Slidepad' will retail for around $20 bucks, out in Japan Dec. 10th

At Nintendo’s Pre-TGS event, which just happened to be livestreamed across the inter-webs, the company lifted the veil off the uncertain future of their 3D handheld machine, the 3DS. Trailers and announcements led the way but the ‘Slidepad’ cradle that attaches itself to the system and adds a second circlepad was mysteriously absent. So get this, after already slicing the 3DS by over 30%, the legendary firm is thinking about redesigning the 3DS and adding a second circle pad… or so goes the rumor. Actually, it doesn’t end there! Just a 3D printer made out of LEGO, no big deal - Video

We’ve seen LEGO printers before, some even using markers to print on paper and even though they’re awesome, this latest creation just tops it all. This is a LEGO Milling Machine that creates detailed 3D printings out of floral foam. It’s pretty insane to see the amount of detail this thing can produce.

While Nintendo’s 3DS handheld is all about displaying all 3-Dimensions without the use of glasses, they’re not too keen on bringing that experience to the home console. In fact, their big executive sort of just shrugged it off in a, “yes, it will have that feature but it’s not a big deal,” quote.
