How Netflix could have avoided the user outrage

Netflix has just announced a change in its plans that will take effect for customers that are signing up today, and effect pre-existing customers September 1st. The service will be constructing a wall between their streaming platforms and disc home-delivery services. This means that for people who just want streaming it will be $7.99 and for people who just want the home delivery services it will be $7.99. Before you could have both for $9.99 and today both will be a combination of both fees for $15.98 — everyone is flipping out. — More after the break!

With only a mere few days until the year’s biggest gaming event, tension is rising high for those glued to their calendars and controllers. 2010 was definitely Nintendo’s show; what with the announcement of a new Kirby, Zelda, Kid Icarus, and a 3D enabled DS. However, Microsoft came out with guns blazing, sights set on Nintendo’s casual market with the formal revealing of Kinect and the new 360 slim. Sony was just a joke, and so far this year they have a lot of “esplainin’ to do!” So without further ado, let’s get into what we think will go down at this year’s E3. — More after the break!

FortressCraft copies Minecraft - Why you shouldn't be angry

Minecraft is one of the biggest sensations of the modern indie gaming era. Minecraft has amassed a userbase of 8.7 Million people (only 27% have purchased the game legally) and it has taken the creative world by storm. Putting Steve Jobs back into perspective

I enjoy many Apple products and respect Apple’s mission to create the “best products in the world”, but I also understand their ethics aren’t always, well, ethical. Apple isn’t a bad company, in fact, they aren’t really different than any other company out there. We just want to make sure people are reminded about a certain someone, and the pretty un-cool things they do. We’re talking about Steve Jobs.
