PC - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review

Ah Bethesda games, they’re always so special. Huge open worlds to explore and huge amounts of entertainment are in all of their games if you can deal with the large amount of bugs and issues those games were riddled with. And here we are at the fifth Elder Scrolls game, a series that has become ridiculously popular since its inception, and it really doesn’t get much better than this. Bethesda has made their newest trek into the snowy north of Skyrim it’s most memorable and effective yet with fantastic graphics, design and, as always, the best sidequests in the buisness bar none. Not only does Bethesda meet the huge bar they’ve set for their series, they’ve exceeded it by leaps and bounds. — Our full review after the break!

Alright, in my defense I had to wiki “Princess Celestia” just so I could get the context of this video before posting it. But for all you bronies, well then I guess this one’s for you… and for science. 

Microsoft stays mum on continued Xbox Live hack coverage, blames customers

When you’re the victim of fraud most people tend to think that they’re going to get immediate support to help remedy the issue. I mean c’mon, we’re talking money here! Y’know, the stuff that makes the world go round? Unfortunately, a quick resolution to this sorta of theft is as big a dillusion as thinking you’re going to feel right-as-rain upon arriving at the hospital after a horrific car crash. It’s just not going to happen, especially when you’re given the run-around. Specifically, after a stunning number of frauds being reported within the past week from Xbox Live, you’d think Microsoft would be ready with a band-aid at least, no? Sadly, so is not the case. In fact, their public statement reassures customers that there’s nothing going on beyond users being too lax with passwords and letting their guards down against phishing tactics. Final Fantasy X not just getting an HD port, but full blown remake for PS3 and Vita

In the last decade or so it’s been hard to say that Square Enix has come up with anything new or original. I mean, do they make anything else besides Final Fantasy remakes, spin off’s or Kingdom Hearts games? Well, the future doesn’t seem to be changing since we’re expecting to see Final Fantasy X remerge on the Vita and PS3… as a full blown remake? Wait, what and hold the phone! When Paul Christoforo unknowingly opened Pandora’s box in the shape of internet rage and viral campaigns against him, I don’t truly believe that he thought it was going to do any permanent damage to his persona, either professional or personall IRL. Well, even after becoming the freshest meme to hit the webs, as well as even getting poked at humorously by even Geico’s twitter staff, you think he would’ve learnt his lesson, right? Word off the street is that’s far from the truth, and he’s holding N-Control’s email addresses, domains, and even replying as others accounts to customer emails. — More after the break!

Rumor - Nintendo eyeing app store for Wii U, their OWN app store

Right when we thought we had Nintendo figured out something like this comes along and throws a wrench into the gears of the machine. Apparently, the big N isn’t just thinking about it, but they’re steathly creating a repository of apps for an upcoming app store to go along with the Wii U’s tablet like design. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 gets reveal trailer and interview -- (Video)

When Sonic 4 was first shown off and teased by SEGA over two years ago, there was a lot of excitement, anticipation, but most of all, dread in the not knowing how the game would turn out. Episode 1 came and went, and frankly, it wasn’t all that. Sonic Generations has since been released and fans have been wanting more of that Classic Sonic style gameplay seen in that title, and it’s apparent through this interview that we’re going to be seeing a lot of changes made in Episode 2 when it finally launches sometime in 2012.
