Only difference is that he’s already got one and you don’t! - Watch here

iPodMeister - Donate CDs and DVDs for a Free iPad

iPodMeister’s site premise is this: donate cd’s and dvd’s to help entertain those in countires where they can’t afford to go digital yet, and in return you’ll be rewarded with nifty Apple products. What you get all depends on how much you’re giving away. For instance, an 8GB iPod Nano w/ video will cost you 220 discs, and a 16GB iPad w/ WiFi costs you 600 discs, which sounds like a pretty good deal to me considering you can’t do anything with CD’s once they’ve been ripped of their music.

Survey finds people are eager to "Work on the go" - iPad anyone?

I agree 100%, I am eager to work on the go - I am tired of sitting in-front of my PC, staring at this giant monitor and my fingers pounding on this plastic keyboard. Don’t get me wrong, I love making internets as much as I can every day, but the fact that I have to do it all by my lonesome in my makeshift office, is kind of depressing at times. If I had a device ( Like the iPad, Courier or HP Slate ) and I could browse the web, check email, keep up with my posting schedule and be able to enjoy the web, at the park or in the community center with a coffee and be able to socialize and share what I am doing with my friends, and followers, I would be happy as a pig in crap. Un-expectedly, a lot of people seem to agree with me…

Apple bans iPod touch and iPhone screen protectors

For reasons that are yet concrete, Apple seemingly over night decided to ban the sale of those film protectors meant for the iPod touch and iPhone screens. I'm not sure how many of you actually use them, but I've never had any real reason to.

Theories after the break!

Turn an MSI Wind netbook into a working iPad

Here's a DIY that's worth its salt. Modder, AlexBates, who co-founded Insanely Wind, a blog dedicated to the MSI Wind, recently posted pictures of his latest creation: An MSI Wind tablet converted into a working iPad. Obviously, it doesn't have access to Apple's app store, but at very affordable $350 I think it's safe to say you won't mind when you're working with full applications on OS X.

Alex had this say about his project:

What I think people will be most interested in is the fact that you can build an iPad with 10 times the storagetwice the speedexternal video (VGA), webcamUSB ports, and built-in multi card reader, all for $350. Isn't that EXACTLY what hundreds of thousands of people have been wishing for since the first day the iPad was announced?

Of course this isn't for everyone, but for every tech guy out there who would like a working "wifi" iPad with more functionality and at over little half the price, this DIY just might be worth it. Alex said that he's looking into making a video on how he created the ultimate Frankenstein monster.

iPad is on Fire! - Apple has sold 120,000 iPads and counting

Maybe this iPad thingy is actually a viable new product, capable of getting people excited - and it seems that way of course because so far, Apple has managed to take in 120,000 iPad pre-order requests from costumers who obviously are not crazy after all!

Ever since word got out from hundreds of tech blogs, news sources and Twitterers about the pre-order event that started March 12th, social buzz took over and soon excitement was in the air, and Apple was rubbing their hands together, ready to watch the profit numbers sky-rocket.

We all know a lot of people didn't pre-order an iPad, but we want to know why? Tell us in the comments!
