Nike and Michael J. Fox auction Back to the Future shoes to cure Parkinson's Disease

Michael J. Fox is one of those people you begin to genuinely like, not just because he’s an actor in your favorite movies, but because he is a good person who does everything he can to help people. He uses his fame as a tool to spread the word about the Parkinson’s Disease that’s overcome him and many other people and he speaks regularly about his ambitions to cure the disease, and what it’s like to have Parkinson’s. He’s a rad guy, and now he and Nike are teaming up to auction off some Back to the Future shoes and use the proceeds to help find a cure. All the best McFly! — More after the break!

Good morning - Here's a spider cat climbing up walls - Video

Well, glad you decided to wake up and visit our site, because we found a 17 second video that’s just neato! It’s of this cat, you see, that chases a laser because he thinks it’s something he can eat (silly cat) and eventually arrives at a wall. The video is funny because he climbs the wall like a spider. Also, sorry for my lack of “finesse” in my writing. I just woke up.

Guy shielded by bullet proof windshield gets shot at with AK-47, point blank - Video

It’s pretty nuts to think that there’s such thing as glass that a rifle like the AK-47 can’t even penetrate. I mean, when the guy behind the glass swipes it after to see if it’s been cracked in the interior (and it isn’t) is pretty wild, and the fact that he trusts the glass so much to stand behind it without protection is just beyond me. They’re mad men I tell you!

Remote controlled jet with helmet cam inside - Video

Something about this is so cool, I mean being able to have a “real” point of view from a jet soaring through the sky is totally cool, and what would be even more awesome is being able to send the video signal to a helmet and wear it. Something about this video makes me want to have a cooler hobby…

Real holographic airport assistants straight out of Mass Effect - Video

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I would feel comfortable with a strange light-beam person speaking to me and staring blankly past me. It just doesn’t seem finished yet, it’s almost like they couldn’t wait to put them on display — maybe a marketing gimmick? They aren’t really helping anyone though.

This water can levitate using the power of light - Video

This is an older video, but we simply can’t help but share it with everyone. Something so simple as a strobe light can make falling water droplets appear as if they’re levitating in thin air. The surreal part is when the dude pokes his finger in the floating droplets — I mean talk about a mind f*** haha!

Designer nightmare - What NASA thought about their re-designed logo

NASA is one of America’s most recognizable entities, traveling into the unknown where the wonders of space, science and life’s origin are scattered among the planets and galaxies lightyears away. NASA at this time had been using the same logo for decades, and it was time for a change, so they hired Richard Danne and Bruce Blackburn to breath some new life into NASA’s identity.
