The most Mind-bending, complicated way to un-follow someone on Twitter

This is a video from a guy named Robert, who has about 90 videos on Youtube as of now — covering a wide range of topics to help you keep up with the tech world. Recently, he uploaded a video on how to un-follow people on Twiter, and trust me, it’s more complicated than filing your taxes. It involves a 3rd party service called “Friend or Follow” and Exel Spreadsheets — so hang on tight and prepare to have your mind blown.

Leo Laporte is streaming his life on Twitter via his ear

This is the man who live-streamed to thousands of people while he crowd surfed on Diggnation, and regularly tweets his weight. This is Leo Laporte, and he isn’t loosing any of his overly-social spunk. Leo has opened up a brand new Twitter account called @LifeOfLeo and he plans to share bits of his life via 30 second video clips taken using a Looxcie ear camera — which looks like a Bluetooth earpiece, but actually houses a camera connected to Twitter. Here’s the first video posted by @LifeOfLeo…

The new Twitter is coming, in a few hours

The new Twitter is coming, in a few hours

This is going to be an eventful night, and a crazy week. Twitter is rolling out one of the largest updates ever seen in a social network — using the same methods as the Twitter iPad app, they will allow you to view a conversation by clicking on a tweet, and use it as a threaded conversation. They are also planning to implement multimedia inside the stream, with media partnerships with 16 companies.

Their also rolling out an entirely new look, along with a better user interface, again, using the slide out, card thingies like the iPad app has. We don’t know the effects this will have on Apps and 3rd party applications, yet, but we’re expecting to see large growth in users enjoying just the Twitter website, since there won’t be such a demanding need for 3rd party apps and websites — Check it out!

What do you think? - As a developer, is this cheesing you off?

Twitter Instant Search is here, and it rocks

Instant search has been a gigantic hit with the masses, starting with Google Instant, then Youtube Instant, then iTunes instant — and now Twitter Instant. This latest edition to the instant family was created by Matthias Schneider, a German developer who seems to like Twitter enough to create an instant search client for it.

Twitter - Will Ferrell wants to roundhouse kick Justin Bieber in the face

Twitter - Will Ferrell wants to roundhouse kick Justin Bieber in the face

This could be the best tweet of the year, by none other than Will Ferrell. The fact that it’s on Twitter is amazing by itself — but we can’t help but feel better, knowing that other celebrities struggle with the same things as us normies.
