Twitter gets hit with goo.gl malware link - Don't install







As if Twitter doesn’t get enough of these everyday, an exploit has been found using Google’s shortened URL service (Goo.gl), asking users to follow a link and install an application called Security Shield — Do NOT install this!
Red flags should be going off everywhere in your mind that this is nothing but a bad attempt at installing Malware. However, we’re saddned to say that it’s likely that some inexperienced internet warriors may have fallen prey to the attack. Be wary of Twitter’s pitfalls, and alarm all those yet unknowing.

Official Twitter App for Mac to debut tomorrow
Not long ago Twitter acquired the “Tweetie” app for iPhone and iPod Touch, but it ended up collecting nothing but dust as it was taken out of the App Store.
