Parrotfish is a Dynamic Twitter sidebar for Chrome Users

Ever since the new Twitter was launched, I have found myself using their website a lot more. Twitter really out-did themselves in this relaunch, and has really made me change the way I use Twitter. Their sidebar feature is absolutely epic, but it is obviously missing a lot of features, but Twitter really did a good job embedding lots of small bits of the media from the links and services that are contained in Tweets, but they never really pushed it to it’s full capacity. Finally something is their to full-fill all those missing features!

Acai Twitter Spam - Twitter Passwords Compromised due to Gawker Hack

Can’t log into Twitter? Neither can we. Apparently those who used Twitter or Facebook Connect to sign into their Gawker accounts (Lifehacker, Gizmodo, Gawker, Kotaku, etc.) may have had their passwords compromised during the hack on Gawker.com late Sunday afternoon. Any thoughts about what @pschiller plans on doing with his Twitter account or why his colleague, @forstall is only following one person and has 0 tweets? Post them in the comments!

Tweetie Killer coming to the Mac App store

Updated on Nov 9, 2010 by Registered CommenterBrandon Davenport

A couple days ago, Tapmates released a rough image of what appears to be a Tweetie-like Twitter client. Now, a few folks are speculating that this could be Tweetie 2 for Mac, but as we know, Tweetie’s creator Loren was hired by Twitter last spring, and was tasked with creating the official Twitter iPhone and iPad app — so there’s not much hope that this is Tweetie 2 for Mac, as Twitter seems to dislike desktop apps.

Leo Laporte's Twitter account gets "hacked" by Steve Martin

Updated on Oct 7, 2010 by Registered CommenterBrandon Davenport

“Fuck this shit @ TWiT Cottage” — Those were the fine words of Mr. Laporte this week on his @leolaporte Twitter profile. As you can imagine, this was one of the largest disturbances of my life — seeing uncle Leo drop the F-bomb on Twitter is something the world has never witnessed, and obviously they we’re none-too pleased when they saw the cussing in their feed…
